Using SourceJuicer 1.2.0 and OpenSolaris 2009.06 enabled blogger Josh Simons to upgrade the open-source package Ploticus he had earlier developed using prior iterations of those releases. He recommends having a look at “How to use OpenSolaris SourceJuicer” and a brief video demo on SourceJuicer that he incorporates in his blog.

Zonestat v1.3

Zone Statistics is an OpenSolaris project devoted to developing a better understanding of resource consumption and resource controls of Solaris Containers (aka Solaris Zones) and their workloads.

Jeff Victor has updated Zonestat to version 1.3. He said, “I was never happy with the method that zonestat used to discover the mappings of zones to resource pools” and “I found the time to replace the code in zonestat which discovered zone-to-pool mappings with a more sophisticated method.”
