Now on Oracle’s Quarterly CPU Schedule

As part of Oracle, the Solaris Operating System is now on the company’s quarterly Critical Patch Updates (CPUs) release scheduled, writes Gerry Haskins, director, Software Patch Services. Therefore, with the July 2010 Oracle CPU, the Solaris OS CPUs also have been made available. Haskins clarifies what this new patching schedule under Oracle means for Solaris users, including Solaris 8 OS customers, in a recent entry made to his Patch Corner blog.
