Sun has issued a patch for Sun Identity Manager giving MySQL 5.0.60SP1 support as a repository in production.  The user provisioning software already had supported MySQL in development.

Sun Identity Manager 8.0 Patch 4 also offers several bug fixes and updates. It is available from SunSolve.

“With this, the TCO offered by the Sun Identity Manager + MySQL combination will be very compelling and competitive,” offers Sun Engineer Mani Chandrasekaran.
