NetBeans 6.0 Released
Release 6.0 of this free, open-source Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for software developers comes with significant enhancements and new features, including:
- a completely rewritten editor infrastructure
- Ruby/JRuby/Ruby on Rails support
- a new Visual Game Designer
- updated Data Binding support
- integrated Profiling
- support for additional languages
- new productivity features
- a simplified installation process
The NetBeans IDE runs on many different platforms including Windows, Linux, Mac OS X and Solaris Operating System (Solaris OS).
